Hotel Room Antics
Hey guys - just wanted to drop in and say hi while i'm relaxing in the sunshine. This week i'm holidaying on the northern beaches of Australia freeloading in my mother's hotel rooms as she presents at conferences. Yep, loving this cheap trip. Although i do feel as i am abusing the situation slightly as i sit here eating room service while she is downstairs addressing a dinner. Oh hang on - that bad feeling has already disappeared. Particularly since this hotel is actually a casino/hotel. Who doesn't love wandering around aimlessly watching casino junkies?
Since i got married 7 months ago this is the longest i have been away from my husband. It will be a week all up by the time i get home. I am totally missing him and literally wondering whether he has clean clothes and is eating 3 meals a day. Not to mention that i spent a whole day before i left cooking meals and freezing them just in case. I wonder if he was here in the Casino with his Dad for a week whether he would be thinking the same thing's about me? Haha i doubt it.
Just a general piece of rambling to fill in my night between general girl activities, room service and people watching from the balcony...

I love how you pre-cooked meals. Free loading in hotels is awesome, don't forget to be a slot jockey for at least one night. You have to take all of the experiences in.
Haha yeah i froze about 10 meals for him, i am an old fashioned wife in that regard :)
Yep, last night hung out in the casino with my mother who is usually dead against those type of institutions, and i taught her how to play the slots... fun times!
haha, that's too funny.
I'm the chef in our house, and I jokingly offered to do that for my wife before I left. She would've LOVED it lol.
you're too good to him Ozi
We have an indoor/outdoor policy at our house - i cook and clean inside, and he does everything that involves outside. (Well except mopping the floorboards, i refuse to do this so he takes that job as well).
This is a good deal for him at the moment as we live in a small place and basically have a courtyard and small garden for him to maintain... i will be laughing in a couple of months when we begin building a new house and the block will be a big mud slab by the time we finsish ;)
GP!
