Say what?

I love reading my trashy celebrity blogs online, in fact it is now built into my daily work rountine. Into - not around. Today i noticed this article and couldn't resist commenting...

Jenna Jameson Hopes Sons Won’t Question Her Past

For Jenna Jameson, actions speak much louder than words.
(Usually this is the case in porn)
When the former porn star welcomed now 20-month-old fraternal twin sons, Jesse Jameson and Journey Jette with Ultimate Fighting Championship star Tito Ortiz, the new mom put her past behind her — and hasn’t looked back since.
“I really don’t think I need to say, ‘Mommy was a porn star,’” Jameson, 36, reveals.
(No sh*t, i'm sure every other kid in their class is going to remind them)
“I feel like they’re going to know me and think, ‘Mommy loved us so much that she quit everything and made us her jobs.’”
(Probably mostly she quit because pregnant porn is a bit 80's and they have laws these days about having children on film sets)
And according to Jameson, that’s exactly what she did — including removing her breast implants.
“I thought, ‘I’m getting rid of these things. I don’t need them anymore,’” she says, adding that she was surprised to find herself a natural at breastfeeding.
(WTF? It took you having kids to realise you didn't need plastic water pouches inserted in your chest?)
“The moment I decided to have children I quit. I won’t even do a Maxim cover.”
(And this is redeeming... how?)
Now happily settled in Huntington Beach, Calif., Jameson is thrilled that her “really beautiful family community” has embraced her for who she is: a mom.
(a s*ut)
“Here I’m not ‘Jenna Jameson’; I’m just one of the moms who walk a double stroller every day,” she explains. “I’m a normal girl with all the same worries and insecurities. I just happen to have done porn.”
(You happen to be the biggest name in porn. Your poor kids who are going to get reminded about it every day of their lives, and also every time they turn on a hotel adult channel)

NAGP Ozi - not a good post. awfully judgemental

yeah, like porn is LESS honest than selling cars or banking.

hmm....

I feel a George Carlin quote coming on...

"Fucking is legal. Selling is legal. Why isn't selling fucking legal?"

I have to say, I agree and disagree with your post here Ozi... Yes, her kids are going to be teased mercilessly. Like any celebrity though, maybe she should look into some.... private school arrangements.

Does the above mean she shouldn't be allowed to have children? Or that morally she shouldn't have? Hell no.

Why is Porn (or sexuality in general) so frowned upon?...

hmm... maybe a full post this is more suited for....

Definitely a full post. I agree with Ozi. Those kids are in for a rough ride

Mmmm love waking up to a bit of controversy... I never said she shouldn't have had kids, every person in this world has the right to children ( good and bad unfortunately). I simply feel for the kids here. And think she should pony up and realize she is NOT your typical suburban soccer mom!

That is not rough that is funny - great job!!!!

Oh yeah, the kids will definitely be harassed and teased... at least until the point where all of their guy-friends treat them as gods because they want to get into their house...

It'll certainly be a less than traditional upbringing I would imagine.

I thought the article was funny, up until the "redeeming" part. What does she have to redeem herself for? Is the porn industry REALLY that wrong? It makes her a slut? Seems a bit closed/narrow minded...

If her neighbors accept her as just another Mom, she must be doing something right...

Point taken, as previously stated i can be a bit of a bitch sometimes... and perhaps my attempts at humour can be interpreted the wrong way sometimes

I didn't like the way she said 'she wouldn't even do a Maxim cover' like it was a cover for Home Beautiful. Porn industry is not wrong, i am not against it at all, but i think for the kids sake, she should stop telling herself she's normal and have a better plan of attack prepared for her kids' questions.

Meh - we can all be bitchy - I still love ya Ozi.

She has a few years left anyways to figure out how to answer the kids questions.

I'm more curious how the School Principal will deal with the inevitable, "Mrs. Jameson, Mr. Huntington Beach Bad-Boy, your children beat the crap out of another student today. They claim that the other student called their Mom a MILF."

LoL yes - that is the kind of thing i was picturing when i was reading the article!

the sad thing is, those kids ARE going to suffer, because people will judge her mom. but does ANYONE have the right to judge the mom?

no. the difference is, kids don't know any better than to judge. adults shouldnt either. shame on you.

I dunno Ozi. I won't say it wasn't a good post, because that would be passing judgement on your own thoughts.

BUT, in my humble opinion, it was a little harsh. I have to say I really hope she can make being a 'normal mom' work. And I believe she CAN be a normal mom, but her past won't be forgotten.

If she has truly gone cold turkey, and removed her implants, and is focusing on her kids only, I would have to applaud her for that.

We have to keep in mind too, there are a lot of 'smut artisits' out there who CAN reform and focus on something else because they weren't famous or 'successful'.

If she had wanted to get out of the business earlier, where we she have gone? I'm pretty sure most businesses aren't looking for ex-porn stars to man the front desk.

I appreciate your outlook, but give her just a little bit of a break.
